These healthy banana oat pancakes are delicious, contain 5 simple ingredients and are gluten-free! They’re packed with healthy whole foods (and no sugar, although they are sweet!) and will become your new go-to pancake recipe. Top with fresh fruit, some non-dairy yogurt and maple syrup for a little extra sweetness, and enjoy! They also pair perfectly with my homemade berry chia jam (recipe here!).
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Servings: 6 pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats (large flake or quick)
- 3/4 cup non-dairy milk (I used soy milk)
- 1 banana
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Equipment
- Blender
Instructions
- Add oats, non-dairy milk, banana, baking powder and cinnamon to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Fry the pancakes in a non-stick frying pan on medium heat with a little bit of oil. When the pancake starts bubbling (after a couple of minutes), flip and fry the other side for a couple minutes until golden.
- Serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup and enjoy!
Notes
*These are perfectly paired with my homemade berry chia jam!
*These oat pancakes taste much lighter than regular (white flour) pancakes.
*For an oil-free version of these banana oat pancakes, simply omit oil when frying pancakes and make sure to use a good non-stick pan.

So delicious! And so quick. A great way to change it up rather than just eating plain oatmeal.
