Avocado toasts are my absolute favourite breakfast (or even snack!). These sweet and savory toasts are a great way to spice up the classic avocado toast and will become your new favourite healthy and simple snack. You can use store-bought or one of my homemade easy hummus recipes for the savory toasts, and top both toasts with hemp seeds for extra omegas and protein!

Ingredients
Savoury Avocado Toast

1/3 cup beet hummus (or classic hummus)
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 slice bread, toasted
Sweet Avocado Toast
- 2 tsp nut or seed butter (I used almond)
- 1 nectarine or peach
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 sliced bread, toasted
Equipment
- Blender or food processor (if making hummus)
- Toaster
Instructions
- Toast 2 slices of bread.
- Prepare hummus in a blender or food processor. Prepare the savoury hummus avocado toast by spreading hummus, adding sliced avocado and topping with hemp seeds.
- Thinly slice nectarine or peach. Prepare the sweet avocado & fruit toast by spreading nut or seed butter, adding sliced avocado and topping with hemp seeds.
Notes
*For nut-free version, opt for a soy butter (a favourite in my family!) or a seed butter.
